Keep Fighting The Good Fight ~ Worship Wednesday |

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I get overwhelmed by the busyness of everyday life sometimes! So, I try to stop the world, get on my treadmill, and run/walk to burn off steam, clear my head and torch some excess calories. It’s so true what they say about ‘endorphins’: when you exercise, your body releases them and interacts with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain and also triggers a positive feeling in the body. What a wonderful way to get a feeling of well-being, just by moving! Running really clears my mind of clutter, and when I listened to this song while on the treadmill today, I felt like God was speaking to me right where I was, running and sweating! He clearly takes advantage of situations when He can speak to us via His Word, praise songs, people, and yes, even pets. Anyway, I’ve listened to this song many times before, but hearing it today while running, I really felt God dropped a message of Him being here for me, down into my heart, it was such a memorable moment. ♥
